But finding that perfect color that’s timeless can feel hard to pin down so today, I’m sharing my favorite neutral paint colors, perfect for every room in your home, and even the exterior!
From warm whites to subtle greys, these five paint colors are ones that we’ve had in our home for years and will never stray from.

5 Neutral Paint Colors for Your Home
Sherwin-Williams Natural Choice
When we were painting our kitchen, entryway, and living room, I knew I wanted a light, neutral color on the walls but didn’t necessarily want a stark white. We worked with Laura Pankonien, an interior designer based out of Austin, TX, when we built our home and she gave me some really great paint color suggestions to choose from. In the end, we opted for Natural Choice – it’s a really pretty warm tone (in the yellow family) that keeps our space looking bright and airy but still cozy.

Sherwin-Williams Dorian Grey
Grey tones are all the rage right now and finding one that works in your home can feel overwhelming. When I stumbled upon Dorian Grey (one of the interior designer’s recommendations), I knew we needed it in our home somewhere. In the end, we ended up using it to paint our outer kitchen cabinets and I couldn’t love them more.
We also used Dorian Grey in our walk-in closet as well. It would also be a great color for a living room, office, or bedroom!

Sherwin-Williams Urbane Bronze
Dark paint colors have been making a big statement over the last year or so and while I prefer light, airy spaces, having a dark accent color in our kitchen was a great way to incorporate in the trend! We ended up painting both our range hood and kitchen island Urbane Bronze and it’s gorgeous. This dark grey gives off brown vibes and it pairs beautifully with Dorian Grey.
Sherwin-Williams Accessible Beige
Accessible Beige is one of Sherwin Williams’ most popular colors and for good reason – it’s the perfect neutral with some saturation and warmth to it. We have the exterior of our home painted Accessible Beige but I would definitely use it inside, too!
Sherwin-Williams Alabaster
Have you been looking for the perfect white for what seems like forever? Don’t look any further! With so many whites out there, it can be hard to find one that isn’t too stark or cold. Alabaster is a great soft, creamy white that teeters on the edge of off-white but it’s still light enough to come off as white. We currently have our bathroom painted Alabaster and I love it so much.

And remember, the word “neutral” doesn’t mean whites, beige, and greys. Almost any soft color, or ones that are easily styled, are considered neutrals! Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box and try a few different shades before making a final decision.
