One of my FAVORITES sales is here…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (early access)! So, I was lucky enough to be invited to shop an early preview event at Nordstrom in Dallas earlier this week and have been busy ever since working on getting out all of my favorite recommendations for all of you! Also, I went with a fellow friend/blogger and let’s just say the car going home was packed with goodies! I’ve never been so exhausted from shopping, but it was SO worth it.
So, if you are still confused about what the Norstrom Anniversary sale even is, first let me explain it is brand new arrivals that are all on sale. I have mentioned it before, but I have shopped the sale for as long as I can remember, way before I was blogging. I use this as an opportunity to stock up on fall and winter items at a discounted price. Also, think moto jackets, cozy cardigans, the best shoes and more!
Please note: In order to shop the Early Access portion of the sale, you must have a Nordstrom card. Don’t worry, it’s not too late! You can apply for a Nordstrom card here and from what I understand, you can then gain immediate access to the sale online.
Also, if you prefer not to have a Nordstrom card, you can shop the sale when the sale opens to public access. So, the date is next Friday, July 19th. Now, as we learned last year, Nordstrom did not restock online items once the public access sale opened.
***If you are serious about getting all of these goodies before they sell out, easy access is the way to go because lots of items sell out within the first few days of the sale.

Boots/Booties:
Shoes are a huge seller at this sale! So, I grabbed a pair from pretty much every category listed below. I bought these light-colored Vince Camuto pointy toe booties this year! Love these! They run a bit small with the point so I did a nine. They have the cutest side slit on the boot.
I have bought over the knee boots the last 2-3 years at the sale. So, this year I did not as I still wear mine all the time. I have a brown and black suede pair just like this Vince Camuto pair, so get these if you are in need. I love the flat heel on them and still feel stylish.
Flats/Mules:
It was hard to choose just a few of my faves! These Madewell calf hair mules came home with my and my friend. We loved them!
Sneakers:
I loved this grey platform sneakers! Also come in camo. Wearing 8.5 and fit is nice. My friend bought a pair as well! These went so well with everything. Hidden wedge in the sneaker too.
Cardigans:
This is probably where I bought the most items and did a major stock up. I bought 3 of these BP long pocket cardigans. I bought one last year and it was worn soooo well and still looks brand new. It is so easy to throw on over anything. The price is fantastic too at $31.00. I bought camel, black and grey this year. All in XS. It is roomy.
How fun is this Something Navy leopard print sweater cardigan as well. Loved the black and white leo print. Runs loose. I’m wearing medium in this, but small would be better for me.
Last year, one of my Top sellers was a Madewell Ryder cardigan in blush pink…remember that? Well, this striped option this year is just as gorgeous! Also, I got XS.
This Topshop cable knit cardigan was super fun…love the side slits. So, I am wearing XS.
Sweaters/Pullovers:
This Thread & Supply sherpa pullover is what dreams are made of. Also, I have a grey already that you have loved and I bought this cream with black stripe this time around..wearing small and have plenty of room in this. Runs loose.
This TopShop striped sweater are the cutest colors! Love the pink and camel. So, wearing XS, runs oversized.
Coats/Jackets:
Also, I tried this grey Topshop moto jacket and the it was darling. The icy grey color is pretty and unlike any jackets I have. Does come in black too.
How fun is this teddy bear coat? It also came in camel and was so cute (I bought the camel). Wearing small.
So, this über soft leopard coat was fun also.
Camo Jacket from Caslon is such a fun option for all the fall clothes. It has a cinched waist which makes the fit great. I bought XS and still roomy on me.
