Hello everyone! Happy Holidays! I love Christmas and I’m sad to see it over, but all the family time and seeing the happy expressions while opening gifts is so worth it! So now that all the gifts are open and the kids are happy, it’s time to treat yourself! As an adult I know I have a hard time asking for a certain gift because let’s be honest, if I see something I need – I need it now and can’t imagine my life without it! Haha!
This year with the gift cards and cash that I received from Christmas, I am spending it at the Nordstorm Half-Yearly Sale! This is one of my favorite sales because you can save up to 50% off certain items up to January 2nd! I personally shop here frequently, and I love the quality! If Nordstrom would build a store in OKC, I would be the happiest girl alive!
Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale SHOES
Shoes are essential for so many reasons! You NEED shoes honestly. You need them to keep you warm during this cold winter weather, to keep your feet healthy as you are out and about all day working, you need shoes because they can make or break any outfit. (Keep those “Needs” in mind next time your husbands ask why you need another pair of shoes!)
Lucca Over the Knee Boots – I love OTK boots during winter so much! I’m always cold so I love the extra warmth they provide on my legs! These boots would be so cute with skinny jeans, leggings or with a short skirt. Another great thing about these boots is the heel isn’t very tall so they would be so comfy to wear all day! I also love this pair of over the knee boots that I wear all the time and are almost 50% off.
Dakota Water Resistant Pompom Ugg Slippers – Ugg’s have been around forever and there is a reason! Ugg’s are so cozy! The Dakota Water Resistant Genuine Shearling Pom Pom Slipper is so adorable! I have been eyeing these with the adorable pom pom for quite some time. The pom adds a fun twist to this cozy slipper.
Tory Burch Star Studded Slide Sandal – Tory did it again! This start studded sandal is the perfect glam sandal! The sandal is leather so it’s very easy to clean and since they slip on that’s a sign to slip them on every day, right?! They are very comfy!
BP Kacee Bootie – One of my constant outfits in rotation lately are these on sale cropped flared frayed hem jeans, a top and booties. These staple booties don’t have a ton of design on them, so it makes pairing with multiple items very easy! The great thing about these booties is the heel height is small which is great for every day/all day wear.
Steve Madden Buzzer Boot – These lumberjack type boots are so on-trend right now! All the bloggers are wearing this trend with a great pair of denim and a chunky sweater or cute moto jacket. These would also be darling to wear with an oversized sweatshirt and these faux leather leggings! The boots speak for themselves! I have these cute shearling sneakers that echo the same trend that are on sale as well.
Steve Madden Faux Fur Slippers – COZY and leopard, need I say more?! These are so perfect for house wear. I always make sure to keep a pair near my shower because I NEED to slip into them after I shower! And every other second of the day. The price tag on these cuties can’t be beat. These are on major sale!
Nordstrom Half- Yearly Sale Must-Have Tops
Lush Henley Shirt – This casual top can go with anything! I love how the V-neck spruces up the shirt. I would wear this top with skinny jeans and front tuck it to slim your waist. Add a moto jacket or a cardigan to complete the look. And of course, a layered necklace!
Leith Fuzzy Sweater – This is the perfect casual, cozy and WARM sweater! Warm is a big on my winter fashion checklist. The color options are so good too. The sweater also features a side slit, giving it the high – low illusion which makes the sweater more flattering.
BP Funnel Neck Tunic – If you love oversized sweaters, then this is a must-have! This sweater would go great with faux-leather leggings (can you tell I love them?!) which in turns makes the perfect cozy comfortable effortless look! The funnel neckline is great because it’s a loose fit but still provides warmth. In my case, this provides coverage of all the Christmas goodies that I ate over the holiday, oops!
BP Striped Mock Tee – Upon first glance, you might think this is a casual tee, but notice the sleeve detail and you will see how fun this shirt is! The top has the cutest flared sleeves. I HATE when something is too tight on my wrists, it makes me feel claustrophobic, so the loose sleeve is very ideal for me!
BP Striped Sweater – I know certain seasons have certain colors that go along with them, but I’ve noticed a lot of pink sweaters in rotation this year and I’m LOVING it! While red is festive, it doesn’t always agree with my rosy cheeks, so I love the fun girliness of this color blocked sweater. Too cute with jeans and booties.
Make + Model Sweater Heart Sweater – Knit and mock neck is one of my favored winter combos! This loose fit sweater is so fun with the adorable design! 2018 flew by, so I’m sure next thing we know, it’ll be Valentine’s Day! The black sweater would be perfect for Valentine’s Day as it features a big heart on the front!
Tie Front Henley Shirt – This shirt is so flattering! I have a love/hate with some casual shirts because they give a boxy illusion, so I am OBSESSED with the front-tie shirts! I would wear with a sweater cardigan or moto jacket. While the henley shirt is a casual shirt, the front tie makes for fun look. Another big thing that I love about this shirt is that this company donates 2.5% of sales to organizations that help empower youth! How awesome is that?!
BLANKNYC Motto Jacket – The best jacket! This is very similar to the BlankNYC jacket I have. This jacket is ALL the rage. I would love to have it in every color..they are all so good.
Leith Midi Cardigan – I feel like I’m the queen of cardigans because I own so many and wear them religiously! Cardi’s are so essential because they are pleasant to wear and go with any outfit! Wrap me up in a cloud…oops I mean a cardigan. I feel like I’m always on the go, so I make it a habit to have a cardi in my car to provides me warmth while I’m running errands. Simple but cute accessory!

I love being able to shop good quality items at sale prices! This sale is only going on until 01/02/19 so be sure to hurry online and shop! I noticed some items were running low on stock since so many were taking advantage of these deals already.
